Creating Collaborative Curation for Chemical Spectra
The RedHenSpectra project is a web-based platform for collaborative curation of chemical spectra in a unified database. RHS provides a data repository as well as tools to support the development of "community curation" - the ability for the wisdom of analytical chemists around the globe to be captured and shared for future researchers and scientists.
Taking its lead from the Human Genome Project, Protein Databank, Stardust@home and Wikipedia, RHS is a multi-disciplinary community effort - combining the talents of analytical chemists, spectroscopists and computer and electrical engineers to develop this application.
For more information, you can see our alpha prototype at alpha.redhenspectra.com or speak to Professor Dickert to see our upcoming beta version due September 15th.
